The House Committee on the Judiciary, via its Chair Jim Jordan, has oversight jurisdiction as to the affairs of the bench and in particular with respect to judicial misconduct and other impeachable offenses. It would seem, though, that this Committee, or at least its Chair Jim Jordan, is politically wayward-motivated and/or driven and [solely] interested in exercising its obligatory duties when one of its own is a target from the Bench. Take for example the New York City, NY criminal case against then former President Trump -- Chair Jim Jordan, nearly jumped out of his skin to use federal government powers in a legal matter involving a non-federal case; but, here, since it does not involve GOP Trump cronyism, Chair Jim Jordan is silent, despite having known, for years, of the issues with the FBI and the Bench within the Eastern District of New York.
